The day we were at the Western Wall, which is also known as the Wailing Wall, was a cold and rainny night. So, there were not many prilgrims. We were able to touch the wall and pray. I felt the wall was so inviting and was compelling me to cry and wail infront of my God, who hears my prayers. The date was March 14, (314) which is also a special number for us.
I have no idea how long I stood and prayed. I love the rain because it blends with my tears...

On the other side, Michael stood all alone in prayers. (The male and female are separated at the Wall.)

God indeed heard our prayers, and many others who cried and wrote their prayers and submitted them at the wall.

It is unbelieverable to be able to stand infront and touch the layers below the Western Wall. The archaeologists are still excavating the site into the foundation of the Wall.

This new synagogue is built beside the Western Wall, which is the most sacred site in the Jewish faith, where the Temple Mount lies just behind it.
